▶ How to change your payment method
If you are using Customily Product Personalizer for Shopify on the $49/month
plan.
Your payment method is the one you have configured on Shopify. Learn how to
change your payment method for Shopify
here.
To change your payment method:
- Access your **billing information**.
- Scroll down to your billing details.
- Click on Edit billing to change your credit card details.
Important:
If you cannot see the Billing section in your Account tab, please contact our support team and ask them to enable it
for you.
▶ How to apply a friend referral code
If your friend has shared with you a referral code, and you are a new
Customily user, follow these steps to claim your rewards!
Important
Invite codes are only valid during the trial period. After your trial is over,
you won't be able to apply invite codes into your account.
How to use the referral code
- After you have installed the Customily App on Shopify, go to **Account
Settings** on the bottom of the left menu.
- Under the account menu, find the Referrals Dialog
- Paste the code your friend gave you under "Enter your friend's code and
get a discount"
- Click save. A confirmation message will appear.
- You're all set, go enjoy your first month in Customily for free!
How will I get my reward?
After your first month of usage of Customily, you will be credited your first
month's fee ($49) into your account.
This credit will be added directly into your account through Shopify billing,
and will be automatically applied on future subscription payments of
Customily.
The credit can't be transferred or refunded.
▶ How to resume your paused Customily account
If your account was paused, there are two ways to resume your Customily
Account:
- Selecting the link that appears on the red message at the top of the page.
- From the Billing section on the Account tab.
- Access your Access your billing information.
- Scroll down to the end of the page.
- Select the option Resume Account.
Important
If you have cancelled your account, it's not possible to resume it. Please
contact our support team for help.
▶ How to access your billing information
If you are using Customily App for Shopify on the $49/month plan.
You will find your billing information directly on Shopify. Learn how to
access your Shopify billing information
here.
To access your billing information follow the steps below:
- Login to your Customily account
- Head to the Account tab
- Go to the Billing section
Important:
If you cannot see the Billing section in your Account tab, please contact our support team and ask them to enable it
for you.
▶ How to pause or cancel your Customily account
Depending on what platform you are using Customily on, the ways to cancel are
a bit different.
Pick the platform you are using, to learn how to cancel your subscription:
Shopify
To cancel your Shopify subscription, you only need to **uninstall the
Customily App** from your Shopify store. Uninstalling the app will
automatically cancel any ongoing subscriptions.
How to uninstall an app on Shopify:
- Log in to your store with the store owner's account, and go to Settings on the bottom left corner.
- Open Apps and sales channels.
- You'll see a list of all the apps installed in your store. Find the Customily Product Personalizer app, hover over it and clickuninstall.
- A window will pop up asking you to confirm your decision. Choose a reason for uninstalling and click the uninstall button to remove the app.
Important
If you are using Customily on Shopify with our legacy pricing (unlimited and per-product plans) please contact our support team to cancel your account.
All other e-commerce platforms
To pause or cancel your subscription, follow the steps below:
- Log in to your Customily account on app.customily.com/signin
- On the left menu, go to Account and open the Billing tab
- If you have multiple stores under the same account, make sure you select the store you want to pause or cancel from the top left dropdown.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
- Select if you want to Pause or Cancel your subscription.
- A dialog will appear for you to confirm your desition. Enter your password to confirm the pause or cancellation of your account.
Important
Before canceling your subscription to Customily remember that if you choose
this option all your templates, libraries and personalization information will
be lost. If you wish to save them, you should pause your account instead.
▶ How to change your accounts password
If you know your current password
To access your billing information follow the steps below:
- Login to your Customily account on app.customily.com/signin or open the Customily Product Personalizer App on Shopify
- Head to Account on the left menu
- On the Account section, look for the Login information. Under your
password click Change password
- Fill out the details with your new password and save the changes
If you forgot your password
- Go to app.customily.com
- Click forgot password
- Enter your email and click send password reset email
- Check your email and follow the steps to reset your password
If you are using Customily Product Personalizer App for Shopify on the
$49/month plan.
**Your email by default is the same email you have associated with your
Shopify store**. You'll receive instructions to reset your password there.
▶ How to change your accounts email address
If you are using Customily Product Personalizer App for Shopify on the
$49/month plan.
Your email by default is the same email you have associated to your Shopify
store. To change this email you will have to create a password first. Follow
the instructions to change your password and then come back to this article.
To access your billing information follow the steps below:
- Login to your Customily account on app.customily.com/signin or open the Customily Product Personalizer App on Shopify
- Head to Account on the left menu
- On the Account section, look for the Login information. Under your email
click Change email
- Fill out the details with your new email and save the changes
▶ Customily Friend Referral Program
The Customily Friend Referral Program allows members to earn credits by
referring friends to become new users on Customily in Shopify.
Use our referral program to invite friends to Customily, get them a month for
free, and receive credits for your subscription!!
Important
The Friend Referral Program is only available for Shopify stores.
How does it work
Everyone with a Customily account has a personal invite code that you can
share with friends interested in creating an account.
You'll receive rewards when:
\- Your friend creates a new account and uses Customily for at least a month.
The reward is:
\- Credit for 1 month subscription fee ($49).
Your invitees will also receive a 1 month subscription fee ($49) credit, after
their first month with Customily. They must apply your invite code into their
account as soon as they create a user, during their trial period. Once their
trial period is over, they won't be able to use your code.
Users are only eligible for one referral reward per new account (not per store). Referrals are not valid for new stores on an existing user. If your
referral has already signed up to Customily before, you may not be eligible
for a reward.
Pro Tip:
You can invite as many friends as you like. Each new friend is an extra month
for free on your Customily subscription!
How to share my referral code
Customily makes it easy for you to send referral invites with any of your
friends. Just follow this easy steps:
- Log in to your account and go to Account Settings on the bottom of the
left menu.
- Under the account menu, find the Referrals Dialog
- Copy the code under "Share this code with your friends"
- Start sharing!!
Once your friend installs Customily's Shopify App, they need to **follow these steps to add your referall code**.
Important:
Invitees must apply your invite code into their account as soon as they create
a user, during their trial period. Once their trial period is over, they won't
be able to use your code.
Make sure you share this link with your friends as well, so they know exactly
where to use the code you shared right away!
How will I get my reward?
After your friend uses Customily for a month, you will be credited your a
month's fee ($49) into your account.
This credit will be added directly into your account through Shopify billing,
and will be automatically applied on future subscription payments of
Customily. Credits are cumulative and can be applied both to the subscription
fee or the transaction fee. The more friends you invite, the more credits
you'll have!
The credit can't be transferred or refunded.
How do I know if my friends are using my referral?
You can track how many friends are using your referral code, by going to your
Account Settings and checking the Referrals Dialog.
Under your code, you'll find how many friends are using your referral, so you
can easily know how many of your friends actually became Customily users.
Remember, there are no limits on how many friends you can invite!
▶ I forgot my password, what should I do?
If you forgot your password, retrieving it is super easy. Follow these steps
to reset it and sign in again.
To recover your password
- Go to app.customily.com
- Click forgot password 
- Enter your email and click send password reset email 
- Check your email and follow the steps to reset your password
💡 Tip:
If your account was created by someone from the Customily team, and you are
not sure which email address was used, you can reach us at
support@customily.com and we will let you know.
▶ How to generate an API Key
- Open Account settings on your left menu
- On the top menu open Integrations.
- Select Generate new API Key. If you already have an API key generated, click the button Show to see it.
